Life With Lois

Sometimes it’s amusing how much your kids take you for granted. This conversation actually happened between Melody and I last year, when we were going over how the Israelites escaped Egypt. I guess it’s good to know that I rate just a bit lower than a bloody doorway.

I really like how Melody’s face came out in this strip, though I did reference a face that Ariel made from the Little Mermaid. I had meant for this strip to come out closer to Easter, but our family came down with COVID. Everbody is ok now. The kids basically just brushed it off, and were more concerned that they wouldn’t get to do an Easter egg hunt. (Amanda ended up setting one up our back yard) I also heard Lois comment to their friend that “it was like I got an extra long spring break!”
