The first time I took the girls to a movie, was “The Grinch,” because Lois had read the book at school, and we had watched the classic “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas,” cartoon the week before. However, I mainly picked it for it’s short length, because I was worried that they would not be able to sit still or stay awake the entire time. Ironically, I found myself falling asleep several times during the movie, and both girls stayed up the entire time and enjoyed the movie immensely. Lois spent the next week telling everybody that she had seen “The Grinch 2,” mainly because she was not old enough to grasp the concept of a remake yet.

I had written this strip before we had seen “Frozen 2”, as it was the popular movie at the time. I made up the lines from the movie, lifting Elsa’s line from “The Fast and the Furious,” which has long been one of my favorite movie franchises, for it’s pure audacity. When we eventually went to see the movie, I also fell asleep several times, which made the movie very confusing. A month later, I was diagnosed with sleep apnea.

When I posted this strip on Facebook, it received a very low number of likes. I assume most people were offended that I had fallen asleep during Frozen.
