Celebrating an anniversary at home is probably the least worrisome thing in 2020. However, eating a ton of Thai food has always been a good time. My palate isn’t very refined. In general, I’ve always considered quantity to be more important that quality. During college, my friends and I loved to go to BJ’s, a Chicago style deep dish pizza chain. If you’ve ever had a deep dish pizza, you’ll know that crust is extremely thick, and piled high with cheese and toppings. We would order a medium pizza each and then save the leftovers so that we wouldn’t have to cook over the weekend. One day we came up with the “Medium Pizza Challenge”. The challenge was that instead of eating the leftovers, we would try to eat the entire medium pizza in one sitting. By the end of the night, we all felt miserable, and spent a considerable amount of time in the bathroom. The worst part was that we wouldn’t have any leftovers to eat on the weekend.

Eventually my roommate upgraded the “Medium Pizza Challenge”, to eat an entire slice in one bite. I was never able to do that.
