Jumping From High Places

I was at my parents house, helping them fix an issue with their computer, and brought the girls along with me to play, when the following conversation took place:

 

My Mom: “We haven’t heard from the girls, we should check on them, I don’t want them to play on the treadmill”

Tim: “It’s ok, I maxed the deductible from my surgery.”

My Mom: *Looks at me confused*

Tim: “If they get hurt, the doctor will be free.”

My Mom: *Gives me a look that says ‘I have failed as a parent.’ Then runs downstairs frantically.*

 

Some people just don’t get my jokes.
